CAVENDISH ACTIVITY HUB

Out and About in Cavendish

When thinking of Cavendish, long-ago summer memories of Rainbow Valley, Anne of Green Gables, and endless beaches come to mind.

But now, you can enjoy Cavendish all winter long at the Cavendish Winter Activity Hub!

Round up the family and gather your crew because the new Cavendish Winter Activity Hub is THE spot for all things winter trail hiking, walking, fat biking, and snowshoeing – and yes, they offer equipment rentals!

Explore three unique PEI National Park Trails with the Cavendish Dunelands trailheads leading to the Cavendish Grove (easy)  and Homestead Trails (moderate/hard) – all regularly groomed winter trails for your enjoyment!

Exploring Cavendish during the winter months has never been so magical – enjoy nature, stay active, and best of all, make new winter memories with loved ones.

The hub is located at the Cavendish Campground (355 Grahams Lane) and operates on Saturdays and Sundays from 10 am to 4 pm between January 15 and March 20, 2022 as well as Islander Day on Monday, February 21.

Parking is available daily to access the winter trailheads leading to the Cavendish Grove and Homestead Trails. Washroom facilities are also available at the Hub during operational hours on Saturdays and Sundays.

Make the Winter Activity Hub your next weekend staycation destination! Stay, eat and play in Cavendish!

“We snowshoe this trail almost every day and the grooming makes it so much easier!” – Gwen Gallant
