Prince Edward Island is known for its breathtaking summertime views and beachy scene vibes – but when those leaves start to change and fall for the season, we’re talking a whole other kind of stunning!

So get your pumpkin spice lattes and cardigans ready because we are sharing all of our favourite photo-op spots in Central Coastal PEI.

Into the Woods

Bonshaw Hills Provincial Park – Hit the road and check out Bonshaw Hills Provincial Park if you’re looking to go deep into the woods to snap your fall photos! The trails at Bonshaw park are surrounded by pine trees, cedar, hemlock, elm and many other trees boasting vibrant yellow, orange, red and browns during the fall! You might even stumble upon some waterways and stone stairways that make for gorgeous backdrops.

Devil’s Punchbowl Trailhead – Near South Granville on the Princetown Road you will discover the Devil’s Punchbowl Trailhead – perfect for spooky photoshoots! This trail features a variety of wild flowers, rusty red dirt paths, and winding hillsides – think dawn or dusk foggy photo shoots!

Urban Action

Breadalbane Trail – The Breadalbane Nature Trail, located off the Inkerman Road, features a variety of trees and foliage, riverside lookouts, backwoods creeks and just the right amount of shade and shadows in the woods for those fall-inspired photos!

Kensington Train Station – The Kensington Train Station is a must-stop for all of your fall-theme photoshoots. The station itself is a National Historic Site and is constructed of fieldstones featuring large columns and a steeply-pitched cross gable roof with the ends decorated in Tudor Style – can you say haunted house vibes?!

In the City

Victoria Park – A popular location in Charlottetown, Victoria Park is located right on the waterfront and surrounded by lush trees, trails and green space – perfect for those outdoor fall picnic photos and shots by the water!

Victoria Row – Going for the city aesthetic? Victoria Row in Downtown Charlottetown features historic, 18th century brick buildings and architecture, Victorian cobblestone, and adorable boutiques and shops. Definitely Instagram-worthy!
