FALL TRAILS
Hiking and biking trails open to the public in Central PEI!
Although volunteers and crews have been out working tirelessly for weeks to clean up our beautiful Island, many trails are still closed due to the public following Hurricane Fiona for public safety…but things are slowly opening back up!
The classic red clay hiking and biking trails in New Glasgow Hills Golf Club are now open. Get out and enjoy the beautiful, crisp fall air and autumn colours. Take in views of wetlands, sparkling rivers and quilted fields and pastures.
Many parts of the Confederation Trail are now open to the public. The walking trails at the Devils Punchbowl are open off the Rattenbury Road.
As we get closer to winter, we will provide you with information on the best places to safely snowshoe. For more information on cleanup and when other, visit PEI Trail Report on Facebook!
While work is still being done to clean up many Island trails, the Prince Edward Island government continues to urge the public to be cautious while exploring Island trails this fall season.
