14 Nov PEI’s The Hot Chocolate Trail is Back- and the flavours taste incredible!

Every weekend from November 18th-December 23rd, 2023 The Hot Chocolate Trail is serving delicious and unique warm drinks all across Central PEI! Try a new hot chocolate flavour every weekend, or see how many you can taste in one day! The flavours vary from traditional hot chocolate to creative specialty drinks! Eggnog Hot Chocolate, Creamy Rich Sea Salt Caramel Hot Chocolate, Oreo Cookie Hot Chocolate, and Peppermint Hot Chocolate are just a few of the hot chocolates being served! 

Here are five hot chocolate flavours on the trail you probably have never tried before:

Chicka-Cherry-Choccy (White hot chocolate with cherry syrup) created by C&B Corner Cafe

Strawberry White Hot Chocolate created by the PEI Preserve Company

Spiced Chai Tea Hot Chocolate with Candied Ginger created by Indriya Home & More

Reese’s Pieces Hot Chocolate created by Willow Bakery Cafe

Apple Pie Hot Chocolate created by Farmer’s Bank of Rustico

If you prefer to stick to the classic hot chocolate flavours, then try Island Hill Farm’s hot chocolate with homemade whipped cream! Jane & Sue Chocolates serve a Rich Dark Belgian Hot Chocolate and The Great Canadian Soap Company’s Good Old Fashioned Hot Chocolate also looks incredible!

There are even alcoholic hot chocolates on the trail! Deep Roots Distillery has few hot chocolates with their own liqueurs – Maple Hot Chocolate & Chocolate PB Hot Chocolate!
