Thanksgiving Fish Fry

Distiller for a Day

Date: Saturday, October 7th & Sunday, October 8th @ 9am-3pm

Location: Deep Roots Distillery

“Distiller for a Day” offers a rare opportunity to participate hands-on in the entire distilling process. Learn about apple cultivation in PEI, harvest the fruit, press it into juice, ferment, distill, and savor the results. Throughout the day, enjoy a catered lunch, local delicacies, and tastings. Depart with a bottle of your own crafted spirit, as well as a custom apron or glassware. This immersive experience will leave you with lasting memories and a deep appreciation for the art of distilling

Gateway Village Food Bike

Date: Sunday, October 1st @ 8am

Location:  Lone Oak Brewing Borden-Carleton

Cycle & Savour the south shore of Prince Edward Island as you travel 38km (roundtrip) from Borden-Carleton to the Boxcar Lounge in Emerald Junction. Your journey begins at Lone Oak Brewing Co. where you will fuel up with local breakfast stations, coffee/tea, and Island entertainment. Then jump on your bike for a 19km group ride on the Confederation Trail to the Boxcar Lounge in Emerald Junction. Stop and enjoy an energy snack, re-hydration, and more great Island entertainment. Peddle back on the same trail to Lone Oak anticipating the locally curated food and beverages, and Island entertainment awaiting you and your bike mates. This intermediate to advanced cycling experience is a unique way to see the Confederation Trail with your new friends.

Location: Lone Oak Strafford 

Stratford’s first Fall Flavours event. Our event will feature a specially prepared menu by Chef Jared Acorn (Lone Oak executive chef) and Chef Kyle MacKinnon (Lone Oak Fox Meadow Head Chef). The night will highlight the food prepared as a 3-course dinner paired with a show from one of Atlantic Canada’s most talented musical artists. The night will end with a dance party like no other.
