Stanhope Campground is a quiet campground with over 100 sites found in the central Brackley-Dalvay Region of Prince Edward Island National Park. The campground is located along the Gulf Shore Way, a 10 km seaside trail ideal for cycling, inline skating or walking and only minutes from bustling Covehead Harbour.
The campground offers sites with accessibility features, washroom facilities with showers and flush toilets, kitchen shelters, laundry facilities, and a playground. Roofed accommodations in the form of oTENTik (a Parks Canada exclusive) and small cabin-like Bunkies are available along with unserviced, 2-service, and 3-service campsites. Those wishing to travel light can take advantage of an equipped camping offer with all of the essentials.
Campers have easy access to the beach through the beach access point located directly across the road from the campground entrance. Stanhope Beach, located 1 km from the campground, has lifeguard supervision in July and August as well as an accessible ramp, mobility mats, and a beach wheelchair available for use by reservation.
