Toe Taps & Taters - Fall Flavours Event Listing: Toe Taps & Taters - Fall Flavours Event
PEIís vegetable icon, the potato, gets the royal treatment at this spud-centric celebration. Set against a backdrop of green fields and red soils, Toe Taps & Taters brings you to the epicentre of the Islandís deeply rooted potato industry. Join Chef Michael Smith and local potato farmer, Alex Docherty, at Alexís 25-million pound packing warehouse for an immersive experience that literally takes you from potato field to table. Filled with stick-to-your-ribs food and toe tapping live music from some of PEIís finest musicians, you can look forward to an unforgettable Ďnight on the farmí experience. Dress in comfortable layers and wear shoes that you can get dirt red, because pre-dinner activities include hay wagon rides. Next up, explore the many unique ways this versatile vegetable can be elevated at roaming food stations. Save some room for the main event, a three-course homestyle sit-down feast fit for a hungry farmer and starring PEI potatoes and beef. Itís going to be a night Bud the Spud would be proud of!Ē
